Michael Brodkorb crashed his car into a bridge injuring himself critically, he has since recovered and now is charged with DWI.

A former Minnesota State Senate staffer is charged with DWI after a single vehicle crash in the east metro that left him hospitalized.

A formal complaint was issued by the Lilydale city attorney against Michael Brodkorb, charing him with DWI, careless driving and driving without a seatbelt.

The Minnesota State Patrol released a statement today saying tests show former Minnesota Senate staffer and Republican Party official Michael Brodkorb was over the legal blood alcohol limit when he crashed his SUV last month.
