Rochester officials: Crows scarce after initial hazing

“The first week of crow harassment appears to have made a difference, as there are no longer huge congregations of the big, black birds in the city.

“‘I kind of go by the complaints,’ said Rochester Development Administrator Doug Knott, who is in charge of crow abatement projects.

“The complaints to his office have subsided, for now, although he received a couple of calls on Monday from people saying there were crows hanging out around overflowing garbage bins in the city. He urges residents to keep their garbage cans and bins closed up and secured,” via Post Bulletin.
