Todd Hoffner, the former head football coach at Minnesota State University who was recently cleared of child pornography charges was planning on leading the school’s football team again, but the Mankato Free Press reports the university has reassigned Hoffner to serve as the university’s assistant athletic director for facilities development.
“We intend to fight the university until Mr. Hoffner is restored as head coach of the successful football team he created,” said Hoffner’s civil attorney Chris Madel via Star Tribune.
